Dreamweaver Stencils embossing pastes for use with stencils.

 Stenciling with embossing pastes looks great especially on dark card stock.

 

 It has a sharper edge to it than either dry or thermal embossing and, like dry embossing; it can also be stenciled with color.

·         How to guide:

       -Work on a completely flat surface.

·         -Tape your metal/brass stencil to the paper/card.

·         -Apply paste with metal palette knife as if icing a cake.

·       -Remove excess paste by pulling knife flat across surface of stencil until you have a smooth even     surface.

·         -Return any excess paste to the jar.

·         -Immediately remove the tape and lift the stencil straight up off the paper.

It is important to clean any paste off of your stencil immediately. Leave project to dry for 20-40 minutes and when dry you can replace cleaned stencil if you wish to apply any colour.

For a glittery finish sprinkle glitter over the paste (also wide range of glitters available from my on-line shop) whilst it is still wet either before or after removing the stencil then leave to dry before carefully brushing off any loose glitter.
